What makes Benalmadena the place to live in? | Benalmadena Triangle
This time, Jacob is taken out to sea with Mojo’s Dutch broker Tristan and Captain Jim to take a look at what Mojo calls the Benalmádena Triangle. Read below and get to know the area better and remember to watch the video where Jacob and the rest of the crew tell you why it is particularly attractive to them.
Family-friendly residential area on the Costa del Sol
and a Mojo favorite
Jacob and co. set sail from Benalmádena marina and on the trip, they looked at the coast from the sea, which they usually stand when presenting Mojo villas and apartments with sea views on the Costa del Sol. Officially, the area is called Benalmádena Costa and is one of the most family-friendly areas on the Costa del Sol. Not least because of the many schools and entertainment for children it has – this is where Tivoli World is located and in the Benalmádena marina itself we find the Sea Life aquarium.
Captain Jim tells us that he has chosen to stay in Torremuelle in the Benalmádenas Triangle due to the relaxed seclusion found here, whilst being a 5-minute drive from the beach in front of him and the mountains behind and 20 minutes from Málaga airport. Jim is from London but has lived on the Costa del Sol for 20 years. He marks the stretch from Carvajal to Torrequebrada as his favorite residential area on the Costa del Sol. Tristan has recently sold a home to Jim in this very area, making Jim a 2 x Mojo client, as this is the second home he buys through Mojo (second home in the same area).
We also pass Per’s home in Torremuelle. In fact, we get a really good look at Per’s Sugar Hill Villa as Jacob sends the drone up to greet Per and the lady. The exquisite villa is state-of-the-art with Scandinavian design in every corner of the home with 180-degree sea views. The 3-story villa comfortably sleeps 12-16 people as it has its own guest accommodation. Sugar Hill Villa has just been put up for sale. Benalmádenas ‘triangle’
Popularly speaking, at Mojo we talk about the Benalmádenas Triangle. Here we mean the Higuerón area, up to the Benalmádena Pueblo and down to Torrequebrada. It is an area with attractive homes, both villas, and apartments, and at the same time there are sandy beaches, lots of entertainment and really good restaurants.
Recently, Mojo presented a mansion villa in urbanization La Perla, which is also located in this triangle. Although the area does not only offer giant mansions, it is no exaggeration to say, there are many beautiful villas with well-kept and secluded areas in quiet surroundings. We also pass the new build in Higuerón Med Two, which Mojo has previously highlighted as a good investment opportunity, for those who want to enter a premium location with a large amount of discount and who can well wait for the construction to be completed. The Higuerón area itself has always been very popular, and here Mojo has showcased many homes. It is known for being good quality housing with sensible builders behind it popping up in this area.
Benalmádena: world-class restaurants
Although the area does not have the glitter and glamor that is also associated with the Costa del Sol, you will find restaurants that stand out in particular among the coast’s many eateries. A Mojo favorite is Trocadero – Benalmádena’s most exclusive restaurant, which is in a class of its own. Watch the video where Jacob designates the restaurant as they sail past. We must also mention the restaurant Yucas in Benalmádena, where you have unlimited sea views, great service and delicious food.
